Wicked Little Things (2006)
Genre: Drama Horror
The first thing you need to know about this movie is Chloë Grace Moretz!! I love her as an actress! And she is one of the best child horror actresses ever, this role shows her talent as much as The Amityville Horror did!
The second thing you need to know about this movie is After Dark Horrorfest (also known as 8 Films to Die For), who have been sharing amazing independent horror movies since 2006. This movie was part of their first series of releases. They have been quiet festival wise since 2010 but I am ecstatic to see release date of October 16, 2015 on their current website and look forward to seeing what new things they have discovered.
The third thing you need to know is creepy children. This always adds to the creep factor for me. You know you have a problem when you have to feed zombie ghost children a pig to keep them docile.
One thing I didn’t like about this movie is the whinny character Sarah. I hoped for her death the entire time. But I guess you can’t expect anything else from a teenage girl.
Though I wouldn’t say I was ever scared by this movie, it is more suspenseful than anything, I did enjoy it! It is well written, produced, and acted.
Remember this Halloween season, beware dead zombie-like mining children. It can never end well! And maybe you should listen to the crazy guy in the middle of the woods, he might know what he is talking about after all.
