Most Likely to Die (2016)
Genre: Horror, 31 Days of Horror 2016
Rated: TV-MA
Duration: 80 minutes
Not gonna lie, my 10 year high school reunion would have been more entertaining had it been more like this movie! I love the premises of this and it starts off with great character introductions. I would have been safe since I didn’t have a superlative in the year book and that was how their deaths were designed in the slasher type movie, not this was a made for TV movie so the gore and horror content is rather mild.
One thing I loved about this movie is that we get a death in the first 10 minutes of the movie. You don’t see what was done to this person until later just as an FYI.
The acting is eehh throughout the movie. The dialogue was actually pretty well done for a TV movie. The characters were great to be honest. The writers took time to set up the character connection but I don’t feel that it was too much time, as with other movies, or not enough as most horror movies have done. Other reviews seemed to be bothered by this but I think it was a nice change of pace.
I wish I could say my favorite line of this movie but it totally gives away who the killer is. So I will refrain from doing that.
