Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love (2012)

Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love (2012)

Genre: Animation, Family, Monster High

Rated: TV-Y7

Duration: 46 minutes

This feature focuses on Draculaura‘s sweet 1600 birthday, which so happens to be Valentine’s Day. In this world Valentine’s Day was created just for Draculaura by an ex-boyfriend Kieran ValentineClawd, Draculaura’s current boyfriend, is stressing about what to get his girlfriend for her sweet 1600 birthday.  Toralei doesn’t get invited to the birthday party because of all the mean things she has done in the past so in spite she pretends to be Draculaura and calls up the ex, Valentine, convincing him to transfer to Monster High. And the most drama filled Monster High plot thickens as these two team up. Valentine is a dark soul up to no good when he aims to steal Draculaura’s heart, literally. While the ghouls try to save their best ghoulfriend Toralei does her best to stop them.

My favorite part of this movie is Ghoulia who can’t decide whether to take Slo Mo or Don of the Dead to Draculaura’s birthday party so she decides to do it scientifically creating a program to decide who she should take. However, the program decides that Ghoulia should date Heath Burns, who is absolutely the wrong personality for genius bookworm.

Lessons that we learn, love is a powerful emotion.
